Our Pre-school is a happy, caring and nurturing environment which engages children and parents in the child’s learning. We cater for children aged 2 – 5 years.
Our staff provide quality learning, with atttention to the child’s individual needs and understanding. We maintain a good adult to child ratio, which enables the child to have one-to-one attention.
Children can access all funded childcare offers, including 30 hours, plus tax-free childcare.
Our Day
| 9.00am-9.30am | Children arrive, Registration and greet parents, free flow play, breakfast on offer- Children encouraged to wash up own plates. |

| 9.30am – 9.45am | Circle time (welcome song, song choice box, days of the week and weather) time for children to share information. Rainbow of rules. |
| 9.45am – 10.30am | Welcome Time (sing welcome song, days of the week, weather, “What I want to learn at nursery today”). |
| 10.30am-11.30am | Free flow play indoor and outdoors, Focus activities begin- planned through individual children’s interests or developmental needs (offered within small groups to ensure that all children are supported by leading adult). |
| 11.35am | Tidy up time (Children are encouraged by teachers to tidy away toys and equipment they have been using). |
| 11.45am-12.00pm | Story time – planned book of the week- question time- recall prompts from story. |
| 12.00pm | Home time for morning children- feedback between staff team and parent collecting. |
| 12.00pm | Arrival and welcome of afternoon children, Children starting at lunchtime and those who stay all day are encouraged to wash their hands for lunch supervised by a staff member. Children access their plates, cups and cutlery and take them to their table where their lunch box is placed. |
| 12.00pm-12.30pm | Lunch time – Free-play indoors and outdoors. |
| 12.30-1.00pm | Nominated children help in the clearing up of lunch including the washing up supervised by a staff member, free flow play. |
| 1.00pm – 1.45pm | Continuation of focus activity, planned speech and language groups, free flow play indoors and outdoors. |
| 1.45pm-2.00pm | Circle time- Song choice box, Discussion- what I liked about preschool today?, rainbow of rules |
| 2.00.pm | End of session for those attending 9.00am-2.00pm (Feedback between staff team and parents collecting) |
| 2.35pm-2.45pm | Tidy up time (Children are encouraged by teachers to tidy away toys and equipment they have been using). |
| 2.45pm-3.00pm | Story time – planned book of the week- question time- recall prompts from story. |

Fun and fitness sessions take place every Tuesday 10.00am-11.00am and Wednesday 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
Music making activities supporting children’s Personal, social and Emotional development and communication and language development take place every Thursday throughout the day.
